Sarah Brooks’ Education and Talents Sarah Brooks was born on November 22, 2007, and was raised in Henry County. She was a talented dancer, mastering every style of dance, with acrobatics being her favorite. Twelve of her sixteen wonderful years were spent honing her dance skills. She was also a brilliant tumbler and a beauty queen, having won numerous prizes. Sarah was actively involved in the Locust Grove High School Thespian Club and enjoyed theater. She also competed in gymnastics for the Locust Grove Varsity Team.
Sarah Brooks’ Obituary Sarah is survived by her loving parents, Jill Williamson Brooks and Dr. Bobby Shane Brooks. She also leaves behind her older, adoring brother, Leviticus “Levi” Shane Brooks, whom she affectionately called “Bubba.” Her family includes grandparents Judy Williamson, the late Jackie Williamson, Diane Williamson, Sylvia Lockridge, and the late Bill Lockridge, as well as Sharon Brooks and the late Eddie T. Brooks “Papaw Eddie,” whom she will be laid to rest beside. She is also survived by her uncles Chris Brooks, Jeff (Stefanie) Williamson, and her aunt Ashley Porthro (Greg). Numerous cousins, including Onna, Cole, Elijah, Alivia, Amya, and Emma, will also cherish her memory.
Visitation and Celebration of Life A visitation will be held at Haisten Funeral Home, 1745 Zack Hinton Parkway South, McDonough, GA 30253, from 6:00-9:00 pm on Friday, July 19, 2024. A Celebration of Sarah’s Life will be held at Turning Point Church, 78 Old Jackson Road, McDonough, GA 30252, on Saturday, July 20, 2024, at 1:00 pm. Following the service, Sarah will be laid to rest at Historic Red Oak Church, formerly known as Red Oak United Methodist Church, 15105 Hwy 36, Covington, GA 30014.
